SGT.ROBERT BARFIELD
RECOMMENDED FOR THE
MEDAL OF HONOR IN 1953

PHOTO TAKEN JULY 27th 1995
"KOREAN WAR MEMORIAL DEDICATION"
In January of 2001 our 26th President, Teddy Roosevelt was awarded the "Medal of Honor" after a time span of one hundredand three years.
One of the main requirements for the "Medal of Honor" is there has to be at least two eyewitnesses to the deed. Mr. Roosevelt who had been turned down for the medal many years ago did not have even one eyewitness to his deed.
How long will it take former Sgt. Bob Barfield of Groveland FL.to receive his rightful "Medal of Honor"
Barfield was recommended for the medal on three different occations : once in 1953 again in 1996 and the third time in 1998
He has three eyewitnesses, all living, to his actions. All of these witnesses have sent notarized affidavits to the Pentagon. A man that was ordered to type Barfields recommendation in 1953 also sent a notarized affidavit.
Over TWO THOUSAND people have signed petitions
supporting Barfield for the "Medal of Honor". He has also received over thirty letters of support!
